humming noise

My car gives off a hum. Does anyone else have this kind of sound coming from the engine bay. It started after installing brembo x-drilled and slotted rotors... I know the brakes have nothing to do with it it is just a coincidence. maybe two months now, and only after it has warmed up a bit. It will still hum a sec or so after the car is turned of. Any ideas?

could be the fuel pump are you shure its originating from the engine bay ? the cooling fans ?

I currently only have i/h/e, and brakes... no charger yet. I'm sure it is coming from the bay. If I stick my head under the hood it is more apparant on the passenger side. I can put my ear beside the passenger fender and hear it good there as well. I can't figure out from here exactally where it is coming from.

If it hums constantly you might have something wrong with your system. If it just does it like once a week or something for like 2-3 seconds, that's normal.

If you have an aem cold air or short intake, it hums also.

I know the aem intake makes strange noises.

I doesn't have a clearance problem, I have checked that. When I am driving I can hit the gas, at partial throttle the intake will wistle.

This weekend when I have time a buddy and I will look for the main source pretty hard.

After re-reading your post I really don't think that the anti-lock braking system has anything to do with it. If it does it constant and sounds like a hum, it probably is your intake like Tom said. I would check the fitting, the temp increase when your engine warms up causes the engine to change size...every so slightly, so you might have a clearance problem. Or it could just be the air being sucked in your intake...they are known to make strange noises.
